CCGM Admitted to ecoDa Membership

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the European organization ecoDa (The European Confederation of Directors Associations), held on June 17, 2025, the Croatian Corporate Governance and Management Society (CCGM) was officially admitted as a candidate member of this esteemed European organisation.

CCGM brings together members of supervisory and management boards, directors, university teachers, lawyers, consultants and other experts, with the mission of promoting managerial excellence and fundamental values such as integrity, accountability, transparency and expertise in the management of Croatian companies. Through educational programs, public discussions, professional publications and cooperation with the academic community and competent institutions, the Society encourages a culture of dialogue and exchange of knowledge. The goal is to contribute to the creation of a business environment that is based on trust, prudence and responsibility towards the community.

On the other hand, ecoDa is the leading European umbrella organization that brings together national associations of professionals in the field of corporate governance, with a special focus on members of management and supervisory boards. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Brussels, ecoDa works to advance corporate governance standards across Europe and strengthen the professionalization of board work at the highest level.

Today, ecoDa connects more than 55,000 directors and board members from more than 20 European countries, creating a key platform for knowledge exchange, shaping common European principles and developing tools for more efficient corporate governance. The activities of the organization include advocating for the interests of board members at the level of the institutions of the European Union, education and professionalization of the work of directors, development of guidelines for best practice and promotion of the principles of transparency, accountability, independence and sustainability in corporate governance.

By joining this reputable organization, CCGM becomes an active participant in the European dialogue on corporate governance, with the possibility of contributing through inclusion in expert committees and working bodies of the organization. This important step is not only a recognition of the work of our Society so far, but also a strong incentive for further strengthening of corporate culture, responsible leadership and managerial excellence in Croatian economy.
