Can Croatia Have Sustainable Tourism?
Croatian Corporate Governance and Management Society (CCGM) is inviting you to a round table titled „Can Croatia Have Sustainable Tourism?“, which will take place on Tuesday, 7th of October 2025, 12:00 at Algebra Bernays University.
Introductory presentations will be held by Professor Josip Mikulić, Ph.D (Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb) and Anita Knezović, Ph.D, head of CCGM’s Sustainable Development Committee.
Participants in the panel discussion: Professor Marko Perić, Ph.D, dean of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management; Ana First, Westgate group Board member, Ante Vranješ, Executive Director for Corporate Function and ESG, Jadranka turizam; Valentina Divki Keblar, Ph.D, Director of General Affairs at Unija Nova; and Professor Ernest Vlačić, Ph.D, independent consultant and entrepreneur.
The Round table will pull together experts from the tourist sector, scientists and representatives of the business comunity, all with the aim to discuss key sustainability challenges in Croatian tourism. The discourse will be focused on climate change, stakeholder relationships, seasonality, sustainable business models and ESG practices in the hotel sector.
The goal is to foster an argumentative debate about sustainable future of Croatian tourism and to identify practical solutions for the challenges that have marked the current season.
